Dr. Sarvat M. Ahmad is an Associate Professor at Department of Control and Instrumentation Engineering, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) and a Senior Research Scholar at the Research Center for Intelligent Manufacturing & Robotics. He has extensive R&D experience in academic institutions as well as in cutting edge mechatronics industries in the United Kingdom. With his team, he has developed enabling technologies and working prototypes of unmanned aerial and underwater vehicles, quadcopters, and frictionless active magnetic bearings (AMBs).
