Ahmed Baghdadi is a geoscientist with over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry,
specializing in geomechanics, reservoir characterization, Microseismic. He currently serves as a
Business Development Geoscientist at GaffneyCline, Baker Hughes, where he leads strategic
initiatives across Saudi Arabia , integrating advanced geoscience insights with market
operations.
Ahmed holds a Ph.D. in Geomechanics and Reservoir Characterization, along with M.Sc. and
B.Sc. degrees in Geophysics from Ain Shams University.
Holding a Ph.D. in Geomechanics and Reservoir Characterization, M.Sc. and B.Sc. in
Geophysics, and a PMP certification, Ahmed has authored 16 technical papers and chaired
sessions at leading industry forums including SPWLA, EAGE, AAPG, and Egypt Energy Show.
His work spans oil & gas, geothermal, rare minerals, and Industry 4.0 applications and energy
transition.
