Taleb Bahadidah is an experienced upstream professional with more than 20 years of
international experience in reservoir development, geological modeling, and cross-disciplinary
integration worldwide. He began his career with Schlumberger, supporting major operators
worldwide in geological interpretation, reservoir characterization, and advanced subsurface
technologies. He has held senior technical and advisory roles in major operators including Saudi
Aramco based on Dhahran, Genel Energy based on Istanbul, Kuwait Oil Company based on
Kuwait, and currently Bapco Energies based on Bahrain.
Taleb holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Geoscience, a Master’s degree in Reservoir Engineering &
Modeling (Honors), and an MBA with Honors. In addition, he is a Certified Data Scientist (IBM) and Certified
Data Analyst (DataCamp) — both internationally accredited organizations — with practical experience
applying Python-based analytics to subsurface and reservoir workflows. This multidisciplinary foundation
enables him to connect technical depth with business insight, digital capability, and operational performance.
Over his career, Taleb has led multidisciplinary teams, delivered complex 3D static models for
giant carbonate and clastic fields, supported field development strategies, and contributed to
operational decision-making across multiple international assets.
He has presented at major global conferences including IPTC, KOGC, ADIPEC, MEOS GEO, and
EAGE in London. Taleb is passionate about Operational Excellence, workflow efficiency, and
improving cross-functional collaboration to enable smarter, faster, and more value-focused
decisions in upstream operations.
