Dr. Shadi Alghaffari is an academic and maritime management expert with extensive experience in higher education, leadership, and the maritime industry. He is a Faculty Member at the Faculty of Maritime Studies, King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, specializing in maritime transport, port management, and logistics systems. He has held senior leadership roles at KAU, including Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, and Deputy Director of the International Maritime Training Center. Dr. Alghaffari holds a PhD in Management and Commerce from the University of Tasmania and an MBA in Global and Organizational Leadership. His research focuses on maritime sustainability, logistics innovation, and organizational effectiveness, contributing to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
